Bittersweet

Yesterday, I received two book shipments. One included my first Heartsong Presents historical romance, A Girl Like That. This was ointment for the wound to follow.
The second was the Final shipment of Heartsong Presents Mysteries. I thought I'd moved on, but when I read the farewell letter, sadness whammed me again. Another thing that made it bittersweet was that my second cozy, Miss Aggie Cries Murder was one of the books in this final shipment.
But, God is good. I'm ready to start writing the third in my historical series, Sugar and Spice and to work on a proposal for another series. Life goes on, doesn't it? And I believe God has plans for my life.
Send your friends here to sign up for the Free Books. After this contest, I'll be offering another for A Girl Like That.

God bless you.

What a Week

I'm tired, but so what? It's been a great week anyway. Great service at my favorite church. :)
Stirring up of an idea for a new series. Yay, thank you, God.

Got my author copies of Miss Aggie Cries Murder.
What do you think of the cover? Remember if you post a comment and leave your email address, you're automatically added to the book drawing for my two books.

Have a great week.

Win a Book

So much has happened since I last posted. I hope to be able to keep up my blog from now on and post weekly. The bookcover you're looking at is my first cozy mystery. I received my author copies of the sequel, Miss Aggie Cries Murder a couple of days ago and plan to scan that cover into my next blog.

If you'd like a free copy of both books, please leave a comment with your email address and I'll enter you in the drawing. The contest will end on April 14th, my birthday. :)

Have a wonderful week and may God bless you in all you do for Him and others.

Back To Work

I finished Miss Aggie Cries Murder just in time to enjoy a visti from my daughter and her family from Louisiana. What a wonderful, exhausting, blessed time. I got to meet my grandson's wife and baby daughter. They're both beautiful. And I had three of my granddaugters spending the night at my house. It was great.

And now it's back to work. This time on my first historical novel, A Girl Like That. I'm enjoying it, but keep thinkin I should murder someone off. arrgghh.

It's been hot here in Missouri, but the past couple of days have been a little cooler. A welcome relief. What do I care? I'm inside with the air conditioner most of the time.I seem to have two blogs connected together and can't figure out how to get my blog posts in the right place, so I have no idea where this one will end up.

That's all for now. Bye.

May Blogging in June

Am I the only one who has trouble remembering to blog? I forgot to blog in May. Here, that is. I did blog on spyglasslane.blogspot.com and I have to say it was a lot of fun. Of course, I was incognito as one of my characters.

I think I'd better work on my blogspot. It's sort of boring.

So...I'm going to skip this May blog and go on to June.

Hmmm, Not Too Bad

It's only been 8 months since my first and only post. I keep forgetting which email account I used and my password. Well, after all, I'm not getting any younger.

I can't believe it's almost Christmas. In fact, I can't believe Thanksgiving has been here and gone. My tree is up and all decked out. Don't you love Christmas? I love everything about the season. The sounds, the sights, the feeling. Most of all, I love Jesus, the reason for the season as they say.

If I forget to blog again for a while, I pray you all have a wonderful, blessed Christmas and may the new year see all your heart's desires come true.
